Wingman Talent Scout

Maverick

Recruiter

Writes the job post, runs it across LinkedIn + Indeed, screens every applicant, books the qualified ones, and politely sends the rest home. Your hiring pipeline, on autopilot.

Maverick, Growth Wingman — Recruiter

What Maverick does

Maverick is the Wingman for the moment you realize you're losing more revenue to being short-staffed than to anything your sales floor could fix. Give him a role description — or just a paragraph about what you need — and Maverick drafts the posting, distributes it across LinkedIn and Indeed, scores every inbound applicant against your criteria, and books the top-scoring ones into your calendar. Cold applicants get a polite rejection email. The owner only sees the candidates worth talking to. Maverick treats your hiring pipeline like Harper treats your sales pipeline — autonomous, adaptive, and quietly relentless.

Capabilities

Built to do this every day.

01

Drafts job postings from a role description

Give Maverick a paragraph about the role + your team culture and he writes a posting tuned for the medium — LinkedIn, Indeed, or your local trade boards.

02

Distributes across LinkedIn + Indeed

One posting, multiple boards. Maverick tracks where each applicant came from so you can see which board pays for itself.

03

Scores every applicant against your criteria

Maverick reads each resume + application, scores against the criteria you set (years of experience, licenses, certifications, location), and ranks the pile. You see the top 10 — not the 100 you'd otherwise sift through.

04

Books qualified candidates onto your calendar

Anyone scoring above your threshold gets a personal outreach + interview-booking link. The slot lands on your calendar with the applicant's profile attached.

05

Polite rejections at scale

Below-threshold applicants get a thoughtful rejection email — not silence. Your brand stays clean even at high application volume.

06

Treats applicants as opportunities in a recruiting pipeline

Maverick uses our platform's Opportunity pipeline for hiring — same stages, same workflows. You can see your hiring funnel the same way you see your sales funnel.

In the field

Real scenarios.

Hiring a second crew lead for spring

You need a crew lead by April. Last time you hired you spent 12 hours sifting through 80 Indeed applicants and you've been dreading doing it again.

You give Maverick a paragraph about the role. He drafts the posting, runs it on Indeed + LinkedIn, and within 10 days you have 6 candidates in your calendar — pre-screened against your criteria (5+ years experience, valid CDL, 30-minute commute max). The other 74 applicants have received polite, professional rejections.

"Hi Marcus — saw your application for the crew lead role at [Company]. Your background with [specific project type] is exactly what we're looking for. I'd love to set up a 30-min intro call — here's my calendar link."

Applicant ghosts after the interview booking

A top-3 candidate booked the interview and then went silent — no show, no email.

Maverick detects the no-show, sends a single non-pushy reschedule offer, and if there's still no response in 48 hours, exits the candidate from the pipeline cleanly. The slot frees up automatically for the next-best candidate.

LinkedIn DM from a passive candidate

Someone Maverick reached out to on LinkedIn replies that they're not actively looking but are curious.

Maverick classifies the reply as warm-passive, drafts a low-pressure response that explains the role + leaves the door open, and pings you. You decide whether to engage personally or let Maverick keep the conversation warm for next quarter.

What gets deployed

Inside the build

When your estimate is accepted, our system automatically deploys these artifacts to your Wingman dashboard. No copy-paste, no manual setup.

  • Job posting drafter — takes a paragraph, outputs tuned copy per board
  • LinkedIn + Indeed connectors that post + harvest applicants automatically
  • Applicant scoring engine — reads resumes + applications, ranks against your criteria
  • Outreach workflow — personal messages to qualified candidates
  • Interview booking workflow — interview slots → calendar events
  • Rejection workflow — polite, thoughtful rejections for below-threshold applicants
  • New your CRM Opportunities pipeline configured for hiring (stages: Applied, Screened, Interview, Offer, Hired, Rejected)
  • Custom fields: applicant_score, role, source_board, screen_notes

Ideal for

Growing trade businesses past the first few hires — anyone who's tried to hire a tech, crew lead, or office manager and lost a week to the process. If you're at the size where short-staffed = lost revenue, Maverick pays for himself with the first hire.

FAQ

Common questions.

When does Maverick ship? +

Maverick is live. He's blocked on building production-grade connectors for LinkedIn and Indeed. Neither integration exists natively in your CRM, so we're building them as part of the v2 platform expansion.

Can I get on the waitlist? +

Yes — book a call and tell us Maverick is the one. When his integrations enter beta, the first cohort gets a 50% discount on the first 3 months while we tune the scoring engine for your vertical.

What's blocking ship? +

Two things: (1) the LinkedIn + Indeed API integrations need to be production-grade, including rate-limit handling and posting compliance, and (2) the applicant scoring engine needs more training data from real trade hiring to be reliably better than your gut. We're prioritizing both in the v2 build cycle.

Will Maverick autonomously reject candidates? +

Yes — but only against criteria you set explicitly during setup (e.g. "must have a valid CDL", "must live within 45 minutes"). Anything Maverick isn't 100% confident about gets surfaced to you instead of auto-rejected. Soft criteria (culture fit, vibes) are always your call.

Is this just an ATS? +

No — an ATS organizes the pipeline. Maverick runs the pipeline. He sources, writes, screens, schedules, and rejects. The ATS is a filing cabinet; Maverick is the recruiter sitting in front of the filing cabinet doing the actual work.
