Forwarding your phone
Your Growth Wingman number is brand-new. Until you point your existing business line at it, calls keep going to your old voicemail. This is the single most important step after signup — and the most common drop-off point. Don’t skip it.
Two flavors of forwarding
- Unconditional: every call to your business line goes to your wingman immediately. Best when you want the wingman to answer everything first and transfer to you for live needs. Recommended for most owners.
- Conditional: the wingman only picks up when you don’t answer or your line is busy. Best when you’re frequently at a desk and want first-touch yourself.
We default to unconditional for most signups — set-and-forget, never miss a call.

Admin Portal → Phone System → Phones & Devices → pick the line → Call Handling → Call Forwarding → enable, set destination to your wingman number.

Account Manager → User Settings → Call Forwarding → enable, destination = wingman number.
Vonage
Admin Portal → Users → select the user → Forwarding → enable, destination = wingman number.
Ooma
Admin Portal → Phone Numbers → select your number → Forwarding → enable, destination = wingman number.
Verifying it worked
Call your business line from your personal phone. Your wingman should answer with your business name. If it goes to your old voicemail, the forward isn’t active — try the OFF code first, then the ON code again.

Why we don’t auto-forward for you
Carrier accounts are per-customer, requiring your authentication. Forwarding your line is something only you can do directly. We’ve made this as fast as possible — most owners are forwarded in under 2 minutes.
